Almond
Almond Planner

School is a lot.
Your planner shouldn’t be.

Bring in your classes. Keep track of your day. Leave a little less in your head.

Made for middle school. Works on a school Chromebook.

The new one

The Bar

A little window that floats on top of everything else. Not a tab you have to keep going back to. Its just there, over your doc, over Canvas, over whatever your in.

Thats a real window, not a picture of one. Drag it anywhere on your screen.

How long is left

The ring fills up as the period goes, so you can see how close the bell is without opening anything.

Whats next

Tells you the class your in and the one after it, so you know if you need your gym stuff before you walk out.

Time and battery

School Chromebooks die and you never notice. Goes green charging, red when its about to quit on you.

It stays on top

Its its own window so it sits over other tabs and other apps. Close it whenever and it stops right away.

Open The Bar from the sidebar, then Pop it out. Needs Chrome or Edge.

Try it

Your classes move. It just keeps up.

Loads of schools shift everything a period every day. Almond sorts that out on its own. Tap a day and watch.

Everything else it does

All of this is here because a paper planner or some generic app got it wrong.

Grades without logging in

Your average, every class worst first, and the one thats about to be a problem sat right at the top.

It knows what you keep missing

Get a card right and its streak goes up. Miss it and it drops to zero and comes back sooner. Drill your twenty worst cards across every deck at once.

A helper, not a cheat sheet

Ask for flashcards on a topic and it builds them. Hand it your actual assignment and it says no and shuts itself off for a bit.

Notes on a real corkboard

Drag them about, tie two together with string that sags like actual string, cut it with a click.

All your school apps

PowerSchool, Clever, Canvas, IXL, Blooket, one tap each. If a link goes somewhere wrong you can fix it yourself.

Everywhere at once

Tick something off on your phone and its already ticked on your laptop. No refreshing, no buttons.

Have a look

Made up names, made up grades. Click through it.

Setup is about a minute

No typing your timetable in. Save one page and say yes to it.

Save your PowerSchool page

Grades and Attendance, right click, Save as. Make sure it says Webpage, Complete.

Give Almond the file

It pulls your periods, class names, teachers, rooms and grades out of it. Read in your browser, never uploaded.

One question

Does your order move day to day? If it does, tap which class you had first today. Thats enough to work out every other date.

Done

Your day is on screen. It already knows which periods sit still and which ones move. If the file wont read you can still pick classes off a list.

Questions

Does my PowerSchool file get uploaded somewhere?

No. Your browser opens it and reads it. Nothing about that file goes to a server. Your classes and grades then save to your account the same as anything else you type in.

Will it do my homework?

No, on purpose. Ask for flashcards on a topic and it makes them, because drilling facts is studying. Paste your actual assignment in and it refuses and locks itself for a while.

Why wont The Bar open?

It needs Chrome or Edge, 116 or newer. Safari and Firefox havent added floating windows yet, so it tells you instead of just doing nothing. Everything else in Almond still works without it.

What if the import doesnt work?

You can pick classes from a list for grades six to twelve, or type any name in. It also tells you if your file came out empty, which normally means it saved as HTML only instead of Webpage, Complete.

Do I need an account?

No. Theres a device only mode where it all saves to that browser. An account adds syncing, so a change on your phone shows up on your laptop a second later.

Does it work offline?

Not yet. Its on the list.

Thats it

Go and set it up.

Takes a minute. You dont even need an account to try it.

Something broken? Theres a report button at the bottom of the planner. Put your name on it and it comes straight to us.
